Sohail won the match with a commanding scoreline of 11-4, 11-7, and 11-5.
Earlier in the tournament, Sohail triumphed over Germany’s Mats Oliver Efken and Scotland’s Calum Smith 3-0, demonstrating his ability to overcome strong opposition.
While Sohail’s performance has been outstanding, other Pakistani players in the event did not perform as significantly, with no further standout results from the rest of the squad.
However, Sohail's remarkable journey in the British Junior Open Squash came on the back of a successful performance at the Scottish Junior Open Squash 2024 in Edinburgh.

Azan Khan continued Pakistan’s dominance in the U17 category, overcoming Switzerland’s Leandro Vogel with a commanding 11-9, 11-2, 9-11, 11-6 victory.p>
In the Girls' U13 final, Mahnoor Ali was in top form, defeating India’s Divyanshi Jain in straight games.
Earlier in 2024, in June, Sohail and seven other Pakistani players reached the semi-finals at the 31st Junior Individual Squash Championship in Islamabad.p>
